class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>On February 21, 2025, the \u201cDecree amending, adding and repealing several provisions of the law of the National Workers&#8217; Housing Fund Institute and the Federal Labor Law, regarding socially oriented housing\u201d was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the main changes derived from this reform consist of the expansion of the Institute&#8217;s powers to build and manage housing, the creation of a subsidiary to develop housing projects, and the implementation of a social leasing scheme and the promotion of a comprehensive housing policy with a social and environmental focus.<\/p>\n<p>With respect to employer obligations, it is established that discounts to workers for the payment of amortizations may not be suspended in cases of absenteeism or disability issued by the Mexican Social Security Institute.<\/p>\n<p>We provide you with the link where this publication can be
