Statement No 12 – May 2025

PRODECON informs what to do in case of filing a “notice of update of economic activities and obligations” and when consulting the tax status certificate, the data has not been updated correctly.

As a result of the inconvenience that some taxpayers had when their information was not updated automatically with the filing of the “Notice of update of economic activities and obligations”; PRODECON made a request to the tax authority stating the failures presented.

In response, the SAT informed that its Portal is working correctly and that the application, upon confirming the filing of such notice, automatically updates the taxpayers’ tax information.

However, if upon consulting the tax status certificate, the information is incorrect, taxpayers may file a clarification case through the SAT Portal, attaching the supporting documentation they consider pertinent.
